Crossed her heart she wouldn′t cross the line
Went too far and she's feeling shame
But Jesus doesn′t see her that way, no

Didn't feel loved in the church he's from
Spent his whole life thinking he is a mistake
But Jesus doesn′t see him that way, oh

Somehow I think we missed the mark
He′s not focused on your broken
Just on your broken heart

Jesus doesn't leave, He isn′t up there keeping score
Jesus doesn't back away, He′s forgiven worse before
And Jesus doesn't hate you, otherwise He died for nothing
You may think He sits there judging you
But I know a few things that Jesus doesn′t do

Flawless man getting tight with the stoned
Not just those with a perfect past
Jesus does it different like that

Jesus doesn't leave, He isn't up there keeping score

You may think He sits there judging you
But I know a few things that Jesus doesn′t do

We've met our share of Christians out there gatekeeping salvation
Say the church is a holy hospital, but won′t accept sick patients
So if you're feeling lost, ashamed, or your worth is next to nothing
And I know a few things that Jesus doesn′t

Yeah, Jesus doesn't leave, He isn't up there keeping score

And Jesus doesn't hate you, otherwise He died for nothing
Sometimes the world does things that Jesus doesn′t
Sometimes the church does things that Jesus doesn't
Lord knows, I do things that Jesus doesn′t
But I know a few things that Jesus doesn't do
