Beacon Songtext
von Rachael Dadd

Beacon, beacon, new ship on the sea
Beacon, beacon, hoisting sails of black
Beacon, beacon, we move towards its light

Beacon, beacon, knowledge comes and knowledge goes
Knowledge goes
Knowlege flows
Some things we know, some things we don′t
Know, and some things we're about to know

Like who are we?
And how did we come to be here walking about in these streets?

Milky mug, white washing, makes it hard to see things clearly
Like a greater picture, the truer picture that takes in geography
The fairer picture, the blacker picture that takes in history

Well, I don′t want to settle for less
Than unbiased and filtered history
No, no

Milky mug, white washing makes it hard to see things clearly

Beacon, beacon, new ship on the sea
Beacon, beacon, hoisting sails of black
Beacon, beacon, wider, deeper dreams
Beacon, beacon, knowledge comes and knowledge goes
Beacon, beacon, we move towards the light
Beacon, beacon, we move towards the light
Beacon, beacon, we move towards the light
Beacon, beacon, knowledge comes and knowledge flows

Knowledge flows
Knowledge flows

So that some things we know, some things we
Don't know, and some things we're about to know
