Walking Dead (demo 1994) Songtext
von Project-X

Whatever it is
It makes the dead stand up and walk
Jesus wept

In the blinding light
I saw the shadows left behind
I cry when I see them
People lying on the island
I knew the past always came to pass
And this won′t be the last time
I will talk to the dead that lie
In the soil of the ground

It's getting closer
It is the resurrection of the night
There′s the first human one in Britain
Another man with an ally calling a dragon
I've been here and I fight the Britons

What if the dead should walk again?
What if they came back for all the living things I see?
What if the dead should walk again?
What if they came back for all the living things I see?

And as we all recall
The hate that lies deep beneath the poverty
Life couldn't be that short
But it always came back to haunt
So you watch the sky to find the solution
And all you see is pain and all this confusion
Always think that what′s lying dead
Was yourself

Whatever it is
It makes the dead stand up and walk

What if the dead came back again?
Came back for all the living things I see?
What if they came back again?
Came back for all the living things I see?

What if the dead came back again?
Came back for all the living things I see?
What if the dead came back again?
