To show us the way of things

Life, life has its way, Whilst death it stings

A mind, twisted by need, Ignores the heart that sings

Swim, swimming upstream. Against all that life brings

(Way of Things) God, grant us the serenity
(Way of Things) to accept the things we cannot change
(Way of Things) courage to do so for that which we can
(Way of Things) And wisdom to know the difference

Don′t think that I do not care
Because I say that life is unfair

We just know that wisdom earned through the adversity
It's the path to the greatest lessons we ever need
So we should change our ways
To become immune, To the games they play
