The Colossus Songtext
von Post Luctum

Curled up in its undertow
No light shall grace my skin again
A bleak outlook for years to come
Whispered prayers collected here
Never to be heard

Forgotten by the world
Left behind and reaching for the answers of the end
I am one, the colossus and the abyss

Shadow cast by a silver moon
Clouds creep over the pale rays
A stark reminder I′m alone
Glance behind me just to see
There's nothing but the dark

Forgotten by the world
Left behind and reaching for the answers and the end
I am one, the colossus and the abyss

I have closed the gap between me and the damned
Found comfort in hell
Revel in darker shades of loneliness
Accept that I am a creature of harsh intent

Forgotten by the world
Left behind and reaching for the answers and the end
I am one, the colossus and the abyss

Marking down my name
Carve my final words
Forget about my face
For I am now dust
