Career Day Songtext
von Plain Speak

Making a mountain of a grain of sand
Asking a lot of myself
Building a monument to best laid plans
Hanging a lot on the shelf

Like my major league baseball career
My cartoons that were just like Gary Larson′s
My novel that was basically the Matrix
My poetry book about love
The video games I would test and
The better ones I'd design
Well these are the ideas that I had as a kid

Trying my best to make a novel sound
And leave just the tiniest mark
Make a vibration, move one grain of sand
Before all of the earth goes dark
