Painting by Numbers Songtext

Painting by Numbers Songtext
When I was painting my numbers
There were suddenly hundreds of wonders
Emerging out of the blue
And no I didn′t even think about
Adding or changing a single thing
I saw no reason to
But your Rubik's cube
Is made out of one single color
Your Rubik′s cube
Is made out of one single color
But you keep adding and changing
Turning and twisting this whole thing around
And you're never finished
Yeah you keep adding and changing
Turning and twisting this whole thing around
And you're never finished
When I was walking a tightrope
There was a sudden balance
I just let myself drop
When I was walking a tightrope
There was a sudden balance
I just spread out my arms
And closed my eyes
But when you mention my future
I just couldn′t stop laughing
Cause you sound like my grade school teacher
Or some kind of preacher
Yeah I′m walking a dotted line
Yeah I'm walking a dotted line
But it′s all mine
Yeah it's all mine
All mine
All mine
All mine
There were suddenly hundreds of wonders
Emerging out of the blue
And no I didn′t even think about
Adding or changing a single thing
I saw no reason to
But your Rubik's cube
Is made out of one single color
Your Rubik′s cube
Is made out of one single color
But you keep adding and changing
Turning and twisting this whole thing around
And you're never finished
Yeah you keep adding and changing
Turning and twisting this whole thing around
And you're never finished
When I was walking a tightrope
There was a sudden balance
I just let myself drop
When I was walking a tightrope
There was a sudden balance
I just spread out my arms
And closed my eyes
But when you mention my future
I just couldn′t stop laughing
Cause you sound like my grade school teacher
Or some kind of preacher
Yeah I′m walking a dotted line
Yeah I'm walking a dotted line
But it′s all mine
Yeah it's all mine
All mine
All mine
All mine
