Amid the flooding, the ruins
The frantic gestures to empathy and survival
The war god rears his head overtop shells and arrows


Those of us who were told to play along are thrust into combat
Lifetimes of promise the economic plus is worth it
Sights aimed at opponents we′d rather break bread with

Let's give ourselves something to be proud of before it′s too late

What the fuck are we waiting for?
Warfare and collapse ain't inevitable
What better time to turn the course than with survival in limbo?
