It′s not something you can talk about
Unless you've experienced it
It′s not something you can understand
Unless you've stood in that place
Lived it yourself

Sometimes you're not even acknowledging the win
Because you′re not used to it
It′s having a win come your way
And writing it off as not for you
Even though it has your name on it
It's like no this is wrong
Someone must have made a mistake here


You don′t really take on the win
As a winner should when they win
The celebration of it
Maybe you're expecting it to be taken away at some point
It′s a strange place to be
But sometimes
Some people
That's the only place they know
It′s not really that strange to them
They're used to being there

It's definitely sad though
But when you realize it
And you′ve seen it from all angles
And you′ve acknowledged what's happening with you
And how you think
And how things are happening around you
And you over stand the situation
It begins to feel a lot different
When you actually have acknowledged that you deserve to win
That you deserve to be there
That this is a triumph
And you′ve earned it


When you get to that place
It's beautiful
It really is beautiful
I mean, everyone deserves to win, right
Everyone who has persevered
Endured
Suffered
Done the work
Earned the place
They deserve to win
