I am not a politician
But if I had to write a manifesto
I would let you know
I may not be a mathematician
But I know when odds look evenly arranged
That′s never the case

We are so good at painting
By numbers over the pain
We never understand
And call it a plan

I may not be a magician
But if I had a moment to entertain
I'd put all tricks away
For I′d only need one illusion
Pull back the curtain & try to explain
It's never too late

Finding the flaws in everything
Cut the stem just to watch it grow again
And call it the end

So here I am as a musician
And if I had to leave just one song behind
I would speak my mind
Cause after all I'm only human
All I can give is what I might inspire
Leaving this world a little higher

The heights of our imagination
We still try to understand

A love that′s worth us fighting for
And making it our manifesto
