It was a night to remember, and I′ma try to recall it
'Cause I was drunker than a fucking alcoholic
Me and the crew had a couple of brews
You probably heard about the shit on the news
It all started out about 8 o′clock
I was chilling in the crib and I heard somebody knock
I opened up the door, and who did I see?
Screwball, Chase Black, Bub and Leelee
They said, "Poet, get dressed quick
So we can go check out Spike Lee's new flick"
In five minutes, boy, we was audi
Drunk some beer and got real rowdy
We jumped in the cab, he took us to the movies
We didn't pay him, he said he′s gonna shoot me
Now why did he have to say that?
I pulled out the MAC and gave him four flats
Then Chase started searching him
Took his money, his watch, and then started hurting him
We went and bought more beers with the money
Bugging and laughing ′cause the shit was funny


So now we rush the movie door
They know the flavor, they felt the wrath before
Everything was cool, the movie was dope
We had the whole place filled with smoke
After the flick, we went to the deuce
Then all hell broke loose
It all started out at the arcade
I put my quarter in the game and it didn't play
The manager said that I was lying
And that′s a trick that everybody keep trying
Now I'm getting mad, ready for a slaughter
Thinking about fucking him up for a quarter
Plus he called me a liar
Ooh, now my blood′s on fire
I set it off with a body slam
And then I made his head part of Pac-Man
Bub took the money and ran
I was the last one with blood on my hands
We jetted to the pizza shop
Because down every block was nothing but cops
We had to chill and check the agenda
A party uptown was next, it was a night to remember

Well, we stepped into the jam, twelve on the dot
Had a little sip of Bacardi on the rocks
I grabbed the mic to show the crowd I'm the boss
"Poet, was you blunted?" Of course
Meeting the posse, smiling and wilding
The best way to end up on the Island
We didn′t care, we said, "So what?"
Then Chase slapped a fat girl in her butt
She had a shank and tried to cut him with it
Chase dipped it, then he skipped it
Left her in the dust, filled with disgust
I turned around and see a whole mob after us
I said, "Oh shit," pulled out my burner
Let off a shot and everybody turned
The fuck around when they heard that sound
I wasn't getting beat down
Now it's like two in the morning
Puffing on a blunt in between yawning
I had beer coming out of my ears
The rest of the crew was still going for theirs
Wait a minute, here′s the last detail
I gotta tell you about the posse of females
We was riding the E train
Then on came Miss Thang
With the rest of her crew
I said, "There′s six of us and six of you"
They was with it, so we went to the Motor Inn
And that's where this story ends
