Evening Gift Songtext
von Phaedra Kwant

It left me no choice but to be at ease
This peaceful scenery
Watching the swaying olive trees
Their dancing partner straight from sea

There′s no one out here out to please
They're just being who they are
Simply some captives in a summer breeze
Most sensational by far

Easy, easy, easy
My love, it′s so
Easy, easy, easy
This lovely evening gift
Tells me that life can be lived
So easy, easy, easily

Spectators in the open air
We won't be hearing lies
Teasing and laughing, it's clear they care
For no one hides their friendly eyes

You look like you never did before
And I know just how you feel
We touch the ground and smile once more
For this play we saw was real

Easy, easy, easy
My love, it′s so
Easy, easy, easy
This lovely evening gift
Tells me that life can be lived
So easy, easy, easily

I′ll remember leaving here
Having read the signs
Though I didn't step into their lives
They surely did in mine

guitar solo

Easy, easy, easy
My love, it′s so
Easy, easy, easy
This lovely evening gift
Tells me that life can be lived
So easy, easy, easily
My love

This lovely evening gift
Tells me that life
Is so easy
