Interesting how you′ve changed my life
I can definitely say just in time
I doubted if I'd be here tomorrow
I wallowed neck deep in sorrow
If all we are living for is dying
Then tell me what is the point of trying
Inside, I died
It wasn′t so good to be alive
Days were slow and nights unending
My will to survive, I kept defending
With lies, I'd buy
Some time with my subconscious mind


I'd find at times
I′d play the role to hide behind
I knew through it all I′d see things
For what they are, and this would free me
From life it's strife
I′m asking myself why am I am alive
I kept it going in spite of the dealings
That I kept going, I am feeling

One fifty nineteen six, on this day
You came in my life and slowly changed me
Your eyes were mine
That day is when I realised
That what we are living for is something
Like watching you grow without corrupting
Your mind or life
I'm not gonna screw things up this time

That′s why I try
To leave the ways I'd left behind
A new groove has taken wing
Inside of the changing everything
I kept going, though I don′t feel good
I only know that I finally understood
