What I’ve Noticed Songtext

What I’ve Noticed Songtext
On the grass of Ireland there lives a farmer
His crop spreads far and wide across the land
He′s got a wife, a wooden cross and a daughter
And his walls are lined with four leaf clovers
Oh, he thinks he's lucky
The world outside his walls would trouble him
His life is honest and therefore it means something
To the Lord he knows has chose this life for him
But I know there′s more to see
More opportunities to come my way
And you, you said it'd go unnoticed
But I've noticed
I′ve noticed you′re on
Oh, deep in the city
Of the great Manhattan Island
There lives a businessman on his own
He's got a suit, a briefcase and a remote control
And his walls are lined with copper wire
Oh, he thinks he′s lucky
The world outside his walls is clear to him
He's seen the news, he knows the
Plight of the masses thought condemned
And he′s got a stack of green papers
That prove that he's better than them
But I know there′s more to see
More opportunities to come my way
And you, you said it'd go unnoticed
But I've noticed
I′ve noticed you′re on
The farmer kneels down beside the fire
And does the thing he's taught would make everything right
Oh, perhaps he′s lucky
To him there's an answer, no mystery or strife
But I know there′s more to see
More opportunities to come my way
And I know life's just one big mystery
And I have a history
Of finding mystery ain′t wrong
Of finding mystery ain't wrong
His crop spreads far and wide across the land
He′s got a wife, a wooden cross and a daughter
And his walls are lined with four leaf clovers
Oh, he thinks he's lucky
The world outside his walls would trouble him
His life is honest and therefore it means something
To the Lord he knows has chose this life for him
But I know there′s more to see
More opportunities to come my way
And you, you said it'd go unnoticed
But I've noticed
I′ve noticed you′re on

There lives a businessman on his own
He's got a suit, a briefcase and a remote control
And his walls are lined with copper wire
Oh, he thinks he′s lucky
The world outside his walls is clear to him
He's seen the news, he knows the
