Don't Judge Songtext
von Pete's Diary

Let me tell you ′bout a girl I know
She took one look at me
And she said, "Hell no!"

Maybe it's because I′m a rock and roll singer
Playing in a rock and roll band
Acting like the world's wrapped around my finger
But maybe she don't understand

Don′t judge a book by its cover
Sometimes your eyes can deceive
Gotta take care of one another
We′re more alike than you wanna believe

Teachers and the preachers never gave a damn
Cuz I look like somethin' they don′t understand

Maybe it's because I′m a guitar slinger
Playing in a rock and roll band
Acting like the world's wrapped around my finger
But maybe they don′t understand

Don't judge a book by its cover
Sometimes your eyes can deceive
Gotta take care of one another
We're more alike than you wanna believe

All of us are sisters and brothers
Do you practice what you preach?

Don′t judge a book by its cover
We′re more alike than you wanna believe

Don't judge a book by its cover
Sometimes your eyes can deceive
Gotta take care of one another
We′re more alike than you wanna believe

All of us are sisters and brothers
Do you practice what you preach?

Don't judge a book by its cover
We′re more alike than you wanna believe
