Lately I've been reading

Your word is alive, bringing me home at night
From a life that don′t give honor to Christ
It's like I′m either into You or I'm into myself
And it helps when I take Your word off the shelf


Dust off its cover, start to read
From old to new, let Your spirit lead
Teach me everything that I know I need
Your grace, hope and love and not this world′s greed
So open my eyes, help me realize
That You're the root and I'm just the vine
