Rasco's Couch Songtext
von Parley Wang

Rasco′s couch like Oprah's couch gave
Me the platform to figure my feelings out
Doubt. from my close friends or family is something I′d do without
Papa, no he not pulling through
You your own man you gotta make your own plan
Options? Not many
Follow the light its proof there's a land of plenty
Mooifontein or Modderbee?
Not for me, there's more to see
Plane ticket uh ORT
Be there extremely early your plane could leave randomly Gone but not for good
Work that that transition from Kasi to Hollywood
Time is a straight line it only go forward not back.
Take me to the place where I conceive
The high of witnessing stars beneath my feet
In my sleep I see the rich & the famous
This time who will I meet?
Dark shades, sunny days
Paparazzi, smile & wave
Wave, wave, wave, wave, wave

Everything that glitters may not be what it seems
But wishing wells can water all your grass until it′s green

I fell asleep on Rasco′s couch

Millions, gotta rake 'em
My momma split her weekly wage between four children
Love life? Complicated
Been with a lot of women hardly every dated
Bandwagon, all aboard
Though on this journey it′s tougher to find recourse
Times a straight line as we know it go forward not back
In my dreams I came across a scheme
A blindspot of wealth this scene has never scene
With all the homey houses
Flash foreigns that gleam
Lovely lavish ladies enough for the whole team
So, each passing moment, I try to own it
Please don't slip through my fingers
Sand through the hourglass
When everything′s good & figured out

I pinch myself & who would guess
I'm back on Rasco′s couch

Everything that glitters may not be what it seems
But wishing wells can water all your grass until it's green
I fell asleep on Rasco's couch

Everything that glitters may not be what it seems
But wishing wells can water all your grass until it′s green
I fell asleep on Rasco′s couch
