Climb up this fleshy frame
Hands and feet are fixed,
stretching up above me
This man-made, shoulder-wide
ladder′s broken sides

The wind rose, I lost my step
Cushioning my back,
the sands that came to greet me
The fallen: ranked and filed
away with all the wherewithal

Still winds, a shineless night
Weightless in the folds
of wings and silent feathers
