Wartime has ended in blight, both sides deprived of their right to peaceful life
Aftermath of bloodbath is famine and ruin
Children, they starve to the bone, breadlines with nothing at home
Displaced, whole villages razed, refugees far from where they were raised

Pull the trigger that kills, it′ll be worth it, the suffering it yields
Save the world from ourselves, kill us all then at long last we'll be one


Wartime has ended their sight, both eyes destroyed in their fight to see this life
Aftermath of bloodbath is trauma and disfigurement
Driven by PTSD, take aim, end the suffering
Widows, they all dress in black, grieving with no turning back

Pull the trigger that kills, it′ll be worth it, the suffering it yields
Save the world from ourselves, kill us all then at long last we'll be one

We suffer under peace
And so we wait for another war
