There once was a girl
There once was a girl
He told the story of her life
Well there once was a boy
There once was a boy
Who sat in the corner by himself

She lived on the street
Where the lights stayed on all night
He sang by the tree
When no one was in sight
They both lived in separate worlds
But the same

She wanted the glory
She wanted the fame
He wanted something simple
Not something insane
They both ended up with what they wanted


She had lots of friends
And was very pretty
Also very smart
But kind of ditzy
But she still felt like something was missing

He was very quiet
And a little strange
The kids wouldn′t talk to him
And called him names
But he was still very kind to them

She was very outgoing
And he was very shy
She saw him sitting there
And decided to go and sit by his side

She looked at him
And saw nothing but love
He grabbed her hand
And said "Let's give this a try"

And they knew from that point on
Things would be different
Between each of their lives
