Like I really knew what it meant
I lived my life as if it was deserved all without any shame
Want to scream for my misunderstandings
Of what I thought what it is to be "alive"
It was only to be understood
When I was put to the test

There was a time when chasing freedom
What a beautiful way to achieve freedom
Until I realized there are some things that are

Was nothing more than walking on Buddha's palm
