Clawing at the gravel and dust
Splintering
Tearing through the endless, gnashing teeth
I shatter
I rend
I am lost, void, null
Release me from it all

Know how I have suffered
Choke as I have choked
Claw within and peel away
The salt and soil from your throat

To discard it all
To cast away
From my mind
Or to hold on tight
Oh, I see a light
A chance or a warning
Dig further down
Inside
To find a feeling older than fear
