Suitor Type Songtext

A suit and tie, it would be nice
A lack of codependency
But I can′t be anybody but me
And unfortunately
I'm always barking up the wrong tree
I′m always stuck inside my pity
I hate my ways, I hate this place
But I'm too damn selfish to try to change a thing

This diary is killing me
I wanna find the flaws in everything
I wanna know that you won't let go
This apathy, it swallows me
I don′t find the joy in anything
I wanna know that you′re not losing hope
(That you're not losing hope)
′Cause I can't just dig myself back out
′Cause it's not as simple as it sounds
A suit and tie, that would be nice

Live in another skin, I can imagine it
Nothing sounded so great before
But I′ve grown accustomed to all superstitions
And things that just cloud my way back home
And since your answer is within the question itself
Should you move your life forward or put me on the shelf?

This diary is killing me
I wanna find the flaws in everything
I wanna know that you won't let go
This apathy, it swallows me
I don't find the joy in anything
I wanna know that you′re not losing hope
(That you′re not losing hope)
'Cause I can′t just dig myself back out
When I want to be somebody else
A suit and tie (A suit and tie), a different life (A different life)
That would be nice
