A blanket of cold, unwelcoming snow
Is covering everything that I know
I gaze out the window and long for adventure
A battle is raging out in the field
A blizzard is caging me in to yield
Enduring the ice cold shots and the splinters

The scent of the season of death once again
Approaches when autumn comes to an end
The foliage flows with the wind onto winter

And my hands build fires in the freezing cold
And I feel so tired and I feel so old
And now I′m told that no troubled soul goes to heaven
I have walked for days in an awkward pace
Just to see your face and now it's too late
To fade away and find refuge in my dreams
Nothing you say could persuade me from my belief


Trying to get myself through the days
Feeling the sweat running cold down my face
Trying to hide from the breeze and the shivers

The world is in danger, forgotten by the sun
