Slowly float in the sky
Drift of a cloud, up so high
Over sea, over sand, over headland
Looking for place to sorrow
And hallow the ground

Towering cliff, free and proud
Gray mountain rises from ground
To the sun, to the stars, to the endless
Looks to the blue for answers
Uncovering truth of death and life


The wind of fate was blowing
And picked up on waves tiny cloud
She stood with her feet on mountain
And cried, giving birth
To the grass, to the leaves
To the blooms, to the woodland

Lonely float in the sky

Over fields, over lakes, over highlands
Searching for a place to thunder
And lash down the ground
