Today I witnessed the murder

In a blatant act of jealousy

The night hollowed out the ground
For a soil forever sterile to be
A burial without mourners
A picture of utter ecstasy


The ravenous urge to lay havoc
Upon all that might take detriment
The bold attempt to reach the stars
That eyes behind a mask so long for

I walk this old derelict path
Led by the echoes in the wind
I soar the winter dusk′s skies
Here hills strip bare of clouds
