Eggplant, peach and fire emojis
Buried with the baptists
Champagne at the wake
The viewing′s open casket
The body is a cake (woo!)

There was a rain cloud above our bed
There was a stampede inside your head
When it convinced you everything was crumbling
I said, "I'll be buried at your altar for forever, amen"

The world was ending since before the beginning of time

It took a minute to get it, but I really don't mind

I′ll be getting dressed up

I′ll be soaking in the tub
When the bottom drops out

Reading through the dictionary
Every word's unnecessary
I think I'll make a new one
And fill up every page
With optical illusions
Of consciousness attained

There was a snow storm outside our room
There was a sunbeam inside of you
The cold grew distant, the darkness turned to sparkling gold
The scales lifted from my eyes and the light exploded

It is my weapon, it is my shield
It is my fortress amidst the battlefield
Our time is fleeting, I feel it in the depths of my soul
So I′ll be basking in the sun until it swallows us whole
