Gateway [Live] Songtext
von Newday

We could have been left as strangers
And never found the fold of God
But heaven gave a Savior
You opened up the way for us

Grateful hearts are here to worship
Drawing near to Your throne
Giving thanks, we′ll be lifted high, high

You are the gateway and we're running through
The only way to the Father, always
You are the promise that we′re holding to
Only You, only You, only You
You are the gateway into holiness
The only way to the Father, always
We come to worship You with confidence
Because of this, You are the gateway

You left the fold to save us
That we may know the Father's rest
Now we're no longer strangers
You have become our righteousness

Grateful hearts are here to worship
Drawing near to Your throne
Giving thanks, we′ll be lifted high, high

You are the gateway and we′re running through
The only way to the Father, always
You are the promise that we're holding to
Only You, only You, only You
You are the gateway into holiness
The only way to the Father, always
We come to worship You with confidence
Because of this, You are the gateway

Your hands and Your feet were pierced for us
Accused and condemned, hung on that cross
There′s no condemnation for those in Jesus now
There's no condemnation for those in Jesus now
There′s no condemnation for those in Jesus now
There's no condemnation for those in Jesus now

You are the gateway and we′re running through
The only way to the Father, always
You are the promise that we're holding to
Only You, only You, only You
You are the gateway into holiness
The only way to the Father, always
We come to worship You with confidence
Because of this, You are the gateway
