Eventide Evangel Songtext
von Netherbird

The evangel of the dark
Where silence lay you dead
For a blissful fleeting moment
I am alive

Beneath the arching dome
The flicker of a light
All dreams asleep
And set in place your ambers

On the summit of it all
Endless is the view
Endless the fall
All that you are precious
Come dead by break of dawn
All of your beliefs
Will seep to dust
Scattered for the wind

At the shores of unexistence
Where nothing lives and nothing dies

Every path has led me to this bridge
I see this ever-changing
Yet I recall each cell, every cell
Walls are all discarded
By the power of a seal

The fog is deep for those
That venture here
I hear the cries by thunder
Howling in the wind
Echoing along the silver lines
The past into the now
Beyond the fields of time

And set in place your ambers
On the summit of it all
Endless is the view
Endless the fall
All that you are precious
Come dead by break of dawn
All of your beliefs
Will seep to dust
Scattered for the wind

Beyond the fields of time
The evangel of the dark
