Shots fired!
Another body count
The only surprise left
Is the amount
Of blood in the soil
Of our precious homeland
We feign shock and horror
But it′s all pretend
Watch the TV news
As the ghouls watch
The ratings rise
As every body drops
But this is just routine
This is America
We die with brains shut off
And fingers on our triggers


Bombs drop!
Civilian casualties
No surprises here
Just total apathy
It's a foreign soil
No frame of reference
To those in power
We offer complete deference
It′s in our national interest
It's about security
A "War on Terror"'s
Not a war on you and me
It′s not America
This blood in the sand
It′s all just abstract concepts
In a far off foreign land

Disarm!

Shots fired!
And blood on city streets
We get more used to it
Every passing week
Another young kid dead
Another tragedy
And yet again
The killer had a badge, you see?
"The cops know what they're doing
To serve and protect"
That′s how we justify
Every life that's wrecked
This is the arrogance
Of our white America
When we refuse to say that
Black Lives Matter


And your sacred
Right to bear arms
Says you reserve the right
To inflict harm
Well I don′t trust you
Anymore than I trust the government
To me it's all the same
It′s "might makes right"
It's violence

Disarm!
Disarm the populace!
Disarm!
Disarm the police!
Disarm!
Disarm every nation-state!
No war! No violence! Fight for peace!
