The sun has just set for sure
A dimmed former world turns to dust
The ashes of a dead world
Time has passed me into the future
The days have become so dangerous
My minutes are numbered by the years
My diminishings have gone beyond repair
The process of self-destruction

The way of my descent is not to be known
The last rites I perform shall be silent


The search for the cure has become a difficult one
I have tried for over ninety-six years
Without relief, I find that my existence
Has become a form of misery
I have been fighting anxiety for the last seventeen years

The solution to my tragic pain
I have been given is a world of solitude
I find that my face has become a dead one
Where the light of sanity has been taken away
The hours have become like time of no use
The months have become a burden to bear
The existence I have known has become a phantom life
Where many have become dead
No one hears my pleas
No one helps me
The prison is a world I have
