To breathe the smoke of the ancient pyre
Purging darkness, lead me astray

From the womb to the soil

Serpents bathing in sacrificial poison
The stream conjures decay
In the centre of the labyrinth I lay
Give my vessel to the maggots of the Earth


Blood, I worship thee
Fire, consume me
Bone, I tear thee
And sacrifice myself

Archaic fire, lead me
Breathe in the smoke from a pyre of devotion
And let it fill my vessel with its embers

I give myself to the Earth
