FOXES Songtext
von Mykki Blanco

How′s everyone doing tonight?
For those of you who don't know, my name is Mickey Blanco
Now please give it up for my amazing band
This has been an incredible tour so far
A lot of new faces, a lot of cuties
A lot of cuties, but we don′t fuck groupies

So, this is the point in the show
It's one of my favorites
I loved when we created this in the studio
Shout-out to Drew, Faulty DL
Shout-outs to Tama Gucci
So, I'm gonna tell y′all a little nursery rhyme I wrote
A sweet little nursery rhyme
And this is called "Foxes"
Y′all feel that?

Way on the hill
Swallowed by the hedge
Underneath the ground
There lived a fox
By the riverbed

Far across the field
Where the sweet grass grows
That's where the rabbits heard
The rabbits heard a noise
They hid among the field
There was the sound of dogs
The sound they found at play
The dogs they barked out loud
"We′re gonna have a hunt

We're gonna have a feast
We′re gonna get that fox"

Somebody warn the fox that they're coming
Somebody warn the fox that they′re coming fast
Somebody warn the fox that they're coming
Somebody warn the fox that they're coming fast
Somebody warn the fox that they′re coming
Somebody warn the fox that they′re coming fast
Somebody warn the fox that they're coming
Somebody warn the fox that they′re coming fast

So right now, I need y'all to make some noise
Come on
Y′all feel those drums?
Yeah

Somebody told me that y'all were a really sexy audience
Are you a sexy audience?
Yeah
So, I′m not done with you yet
No, you ain't getting away yet
We gon' bring that shit back
We gon′ run it back one more time
Let′s bring that shit back
Let's run it back
Let′s get it

Way on the hill
Swallowed by the hedge
Underneath the ground
There lived a fox
By the riverbed

Far across the field
Where the sweet grass grows
That's where the rabbits heard
The rabbits heard a noise
They hid among the field
There was the sound of dogs
The sound they found at play

The dogs they barked out loud
"We′re gonna have a hunt
We're gonna have a feast
We′re gonna get that fox"

Somebody warn the fox that they're coming
Somebody warn the fox that they're coming fast
Somebody warn the fox that they′re coming
Somebody warn the fox that they′re coming fast
Somebody warn the fox that they're coming
Somebody warn the fox that they′re coming fast
Somebody warn the fox that they're coming
Somebody warn the fox that they′re coming fast
