Slipping deeper into the abyss
Holding mud-soaked roots until my hands slip
Finally, I reach the bottom of the pit
Darkness envelops me
Sulfuric nullity

The fuel for the fire
Is running low
What will transpire
I do not know
Just sparks to comfort me
Until I spark a flame
Pitch black with the fragrance of decay


There may be hope at last
In a pit of hopelessness
Is it a gift or is it a fucking curse
To see what lurks down here
To see where I traverse

Anxiety
Profusely sweating and shivering
What I discover is horrifying

I can see with a dim light glowing
The remnants of the decomposing
They′re painted in a crimson sheen
Rats feasting
Bones picked clean

Not far from the shaft I fell down
Adorned are the gates with hell hounds
Their snarls are held back by chains
They take a seat when I feed them the meat


I don't know what′s real anymore
I feel numb to this pale existence
Hope is gone and all that's left
Is the Sorrow of my weary soul
I think I've lost my mind
