Ruins for the Future Songtext

Ruins for the Future Songtext

War, war never changes

Like an old woman, deathly locked in a dark room
And dinner with my kids of progress
And state of the art technology
Pushing forward, but a waste of living
Sweep the land with one way empathy
Like a bully equipped with a hand gun
And undetonated cluster bombs
Something for the children

What are we preventing by making enemies?
For freedom of madness, no matter the objective
Bombs are still made to waste and guns to kill
For morals of money, seen in the great perspective
It′s a world for our children that we burn down

We leave again but we're not leaving much
Institutions for your lack lusted children
Still from far away we′re shocked to see
The works of the oppressed are blown to pieces
Between the ruins of the bible schools
The foundations of the western values
Lies the promised land in ancient tears
Made for the people

No one burns down the house of friends and family
For freedom of madness, no matter the objective
Bombs are still made to waste and guns to kill
For morals of money, seen in the great perspective
It's a world for our children that we burn down

We burn it down

Death by terrorists, becoming one yourself
All the arms we need are for war again
