I′ve begun to compose
The end of this life as I wilt like a rose
I've been removing the chapters
Wrote my own ending
I′ll make this disaster

Take another look
These vacant eyes are no disguise
Hanging on a hook
It's no surprise love always dies

I am an island
Drowning at sea is a a fitting ending to me
There is an ocean
That's oh so relentless and often unspoken
Sinking and sinking
Deeper and deeper
I′ll swim through the depths until I swim with reaper

It′s no surprise love always dies
Like an origami swan I'm made to drown
The only hope for me is six feet underground

I couldn′t find a purpose if it was knocking at my door
I can't scratch the surface lying on the floor
Shackled with doubt
Treading water with the weight of guilt dragging me down
Imprisoned with this fear
Can′t you see that there is no hope left for me still here

I'll soon fade to nothing
I′ll be gone today
Put me in my coffin
And let me sail away
