Matter Songtext
von Michael R Shaw

To matter is to count, mean a damn, be of substance
Matter is the substance, or an issue or concern
The matter is the topic or the problem or the case
But it′s also what some lives do.

I just heard a man and Iiked what he told me
Everything is well and will continue to be
And why would he tell me a lie why would he do that.

We go debating the words
In our knowledgable circles
Aiming the shots at some spongey targets
And when we bullseye
We don't make a difference

Of course there could be some ulterior motive
I guess there could be some twist in the tale
If I know the writer well, heel do one
The denouement will fail.

We go debating the words
In our knowledgable circles
Aiming the shots at some spongey targets
And when we bullseye
We don′t make a difference

We go debating the words
In our knowledgable circles
Aiming the shots at some spongey targets
And when we bullseye
We don't make a difference
