Closer To The Fire Songtext
von Michael James

Snow has fallen heavy on my hungry heart
Frozen feelings hold me helpless in the dark
I begin to feel a gentle wind
I start to move, then you draw me in

Closer to the fire
Where your love will melt my heart and warm my soul
Closer to the love
He promises to everyone who′ll come to Him
I can hear Him calling me
Closer to the fire

The world is changing, something strange is in the air
What He's doing, eyes shall see and ears shall hear
We can′t let our faith in Him grow cold
We must look to heaven, soon we will be home

Closer to the fire
Where your love will melt my heart and warm my soul
Closer to the love
He promises to everyone who'll come to Him
I can hear Him calling me
Closer to the fire

Oh, closer to the fire
Closer to the fire
I can hear Him calling me (Calling me)
Closer to the fire

Closer to the fire
Into the very heart of Him who died for me
Closer to the love
He promises to everyone who'll come to Him
I can hear Him calling me (Calling me)
Closer to the fire

Oh, closer to the fire
