Therapist Songtext

Therapist Songtext

My therapist told me
She don′t want to see me no more
But she could give me a name
With a number to call
And I don't know the reason
Maybe ′cause I didn't want her pills
Or 'cause I didn′t want to talk

I′ve tried to draw myself
But I forget how I look
I've tried to draw the lines of all the years
Every wrinkle I think is there

And I grab my future and I choke it
Till it can′t speak no more
Till it won't move no more

I bought a pack of cigarettes
Right after work
But I haven′t opened it yet
I know I've told you that I quit

And I met a stranger in a bar
She was reading a book about astral travel
Drinking a glass of champagne
She said ′My boyfriend just broke up with me'

And I grab my future and I choke it
Till it can't speak no more
Till I won′t move no more

And I miss my friends
I miss ′em tonight
They're somewhere in Manchester, Ireland, and LA
And I miss my lover
When I′m not with her
Darling when I'm with you I don′t worry about anything
Yeah darling when I'm with you I don′t worry about anything
