When the doctor took my pulse he said
"I can′t feel anything"
It's slightly concerning
But your heart it barely beats

I went and shook my head and said
In the grand scheme of things
I′m not the walking dead
I'm alive as you can see


He asked what have I been eating
Lots of leafy greens?
Your cells are have work ethic
But perhaps you're not trying

To realize your full potential
You might as well be buried now
If you don′t do what you came here for
You′re better off deep in the ground

And then it becomes a matter of
All the people you let down
So you're stuck in that in between
Rocks and stones weighing you down


In that cavern between your shoulders
Where that beating thing should be found
I know there′s way more deep inside you
But it's no use to bring it out
