Fae Freefall Songtext
von Lucas Valiante

I left the cold iron rusting at the gate
You said time is fluid, so why should we wait?
Stepped inside the circle, the grass turned to glass
Watch the heavy seconds struggle to pass
You offered me a name I couldn′t pronounce
Now my heart is beating ounce for heavy ounce
The colors here are violent, the water is too sweet I can't feel the earth beneath my feet

(Don′t eat the fruit, don't drink the wine) That's what they told me, but you look so fine (Don′t look behind, don′t break the spell)
I'm halfway to heaven or halfway to hell

Now I′m in a Fae Freefall
Back against the mossy wall
Gravity is just a suggestion, dear I'm losing the signal
I′m disappearing here It's a long way down, straight through the floor
I don′t want to go home anymore
Fae Freefall

My mother's voice is static on the radio
You're teaching me things that I shouldn′t know
A year is a day, and a day is a life
Your smile cuts cleaner than a silver knife
Swap my memories for a pair of wings
Listen to the way the hollow forest sings I′m trading my shadow for a little bit of light I'm staying for the endless night

The wine. It tastes like honey and it tastes like brine
I guess this is where the fallen dwell

Now I′m in a Fae Freefall
Back against the mossy wall
Gravity is just a suggestion, dear I'm losing the signal
I′m disappearing here
It's a long way down, straight through the floor
I don′t want to go home anymore
Fae Freefall

Changeling star-crossed lines are blurred promises broken not a single word

You stole my eyes!
You stole my breath!
Is this a new life?
Or is this just death?

Just let it
Bet your silence deep
That mimics the feeling of falling

'Cause I'm in a Fae Freefall
No one left to hear me call
Gravity was just a suggestion, dear I′ve lost the signal
I′m disappearing here
It's a long way down, straight through the floor
I don′t want to go home anymore (No, I can't go home)
Fae Freefall
