Dada Data Songtext

My body feels the need to quit
As my mind had long withdrawn
Weirdly I keep on moving, keep on going
Becoming the next tech pawn

I′m addicted to information
For a glance at infiltration
I can see the whole world scroll by
But I can't see no liberation

Images Images Images
Never enough
Dopamine, Dopamine overdose

They know I′m tired
But my attention is required
Still I feel uninspired
As my mind gets rewired

Words directed that they won't understand
Doesn't connect with what they now demand
Nothing′s solved and only forgotten
Second hand news doesn′t seem to hit

Numbers, digits, contractions I don't know about
Post after post because the host was thinking out loud
So much hate but never grounded towards the fate that′s gonna drown us

Images Images Images
Never enough
Dopamine, Dopamine overdose

Western propaganda hidden in the resistance
Making consistency pretty non-existent
As the truth is what I understand
Of the persona that's really persistent

Luckily it′s still harmless
The growing mental health issue regardless
They control what you eat, think and act like
If you lash out you're just heartless

I wanted change but got none
I saw the pain from everyone
Became again more active
To help fight the confusion

Identity′s still anonymous
Growing further from autonomous
Profile sold, used and altered
They don't need your name to reach the unconscious

Suddenly there's political messages right inside my mailbox
Couldn′t see why anyone would think otherwise
Every day, every hour, every day, every hour, every minute

Political messages delivered to my eyes
Some of them I don′t understand but it sounds right
Every day, every hour, every day, every hour, every minute

Political messages in my mind
Lost myself as I couldn't apprehend
These troubles caused by the authority we need to suspend
