Recording again because
I′m actually not feeling that great
Today I woke up and I was just sad again
And I can't even explain why I was feeling sad
And I was just waiting for these emotions to go away
And somewhere throughout all of that I realized
That I have this pattern where
I′m constantly waiting for things to get better
I'm constantly telling myself like
Oh things are going to get better
And I tell myself this because at a certain point
You know things do get better And I get really happy and it feels like
Everything in my life makes sense
And all the pain
Everything I suffered through
All these weird feelings I've been dealing with
Everything makes sense
It was all worthwhile
But you know
Then after a while
The feelings come back
And I′ve been in this cycle
For the past 12 years of my life


And I′ve made it this far
Even though that it's really hard
And I never call
But I promise you this
If I ever leave this place
I′ll remember your face
And I've made it this far
But I promise that it′s getting hard
And I can't recall
Not feeling like this
But I promise you this
I′ll remember your face

I'm okay though I promise
I genuinely promise I'm okay
I′ve gotten myself out of this before
I can do it again
