Yesterday I woke up in a dream
Filled with sorrow and painful memories
But I can′t remember what it was I'd seen
That made me grab my pen and clue you in
For me there′s no relief

That's why I'm living day to day and I say I pray
Drowning down the pain that I could not break
So that′s why I have to say I′m sorry in this note I wrote to you


Everybody wants to live a life
Full of purpose, fulfilling what's required
But I doubt there′s any hope I can maintain
The course I'm on is doomed, yet one choice looms
While the world just fades away

So point a finger, pull the trigger, say your last goodbye
This time tomorrow no more tears you'll have to cry
Smooth the wrinkles from your forehead, close your eyes
For those who love me, ease your troubles, I′m at peace right now
Don′t blame yourself for things I go through, I keep down
The only way for me to rectify this frown
