Falling Star Songtext

Falling Star Songtext
He saw a falling star last night
It had a funky eye
He laughed at it and made a wish
As it was landing nearby
He went about his daily life
Forgetting his celestial dreams
He kept on lifting his head high
Remembering how she made him feel
He stopped for coffee and croissant
Somewhere in the neighborhood
And when he turned around he saw his star
Dressed up like a leading lady in Hollywood
She was falling so fast
He thought it was a mirage
In between two planets
One cold and one hot
She was falling, falling fast
In the celestial blast
That killed the sun and moon
And two planets one cold and one hot
He let her go
He didn′t catch her at all
Didn't offer her shelter
He let her turn into a stone
He met his fallen star last night
Sitting in the crowded bar
She was alone in full makeup
Glowing in her stellar gown
He asked her name and she replied
Call me a sad and lonely soul
Gave him a smile and took off
Leaving him to mend his wounded pride
He followed her through dirty streets
Seduced by her galactic flare
But the only traces that she left him with
Was the glitter melting in the air
She was falling so fast
He thought it was a mirage
In between two planets
One cold and one hot
She was falling, falling fast
In the celestial blast
That killed the sun and moon
And two planets one cold and one hot
He let her go
He didn′t catch her at all
Didn't offer her shelter
He let her turn into a stone
He found his fallen star last night
Or was it in his other life
She was abandoned on the sidewalk
Trying to shine her broken light
Her face was stained with silver dust
Traveling in the troposphere
And crystal tears gleamed so brightly
Running from her funky-looking eye
He asked if his radioactive love
Filled her broken heart with fear
But the angel snatched away his lonely star
In their kiss, his doubt disappeared
She was falling so fast
He thought it was a mirage
In between two planets
One cold and one hot
She was falling, falling fast
In the celestial blast
That killed the sun and moon
And two planets one cold and one hot
He let her go
He didn't catch her at all
Didn′t offer her shelter
He let her turn into a stone
It had a funky eye
