He came to me inside a dream
It was the shade of myself I had seen
As I walked through the Temple of Love
I felt like a stranger inside
A loner was pointed away
Choosing which road I must take
I gazed the old man in the eyes
And his presence made me realize

It was the Reaper who′d come in for me
Like a prisoner caught in a dream
He was painting the Temple of Love
With bloodstains from the white feathered dove

And when the storm arrived I knew the end was near
And when the second came, my fate began to clear

What is the meaning?
When I'm awake, I′m dreaming
Dead or asleep

I followed the road I had found
Into the Ocean of Death I arrived
Where thousands of millions had drowned
Forever in darkness and bound
The Reaper now stood on the shore
Pointing the new way to go
"Inside the Ocean of Death you will find
Your true self in the waves of our kind"

And then I saw his face, deep down in the sea
And when he gazed at me, he tried to pull me in
