Okay! So, I really just wanted to talk about
A lot of interesting things that have been going on recently
I feel more content than I′ve ever been
I have some more empathy, I have some more friends

I am learning how to set boundaries
Blocking people off, blocking toxicity
And finally, I'm all round
And finally, I feel mentally sound, right now

And you know goddamn, do I feel pretty!
And I′m not even just saying that to avoid someone yellin' at me
And I mean that in a good way how sometimes your friends are looking out for you
And they really stop at nothing to make sure that you feel content in your own skin
And even more so than that, to make sure that everything's okay within


And, I haven′t had any truly you know icky thoughts in years
And the fact I′m still around has got me starting up in tears
And there were times when I was younger, and I know I'm not alone
When I felt like I would not live past age x, and I assure you, you are not alone
Sometimes the hardest places to imagine being are where you feel at home

Cause you know I was able to do it! and, holy fuck, I know you′re capable too
And sometimes, one pep talk is not enough, I understand
But so many people would do it for you
And so many who recognize your worth, and your potential
Just the way that others were able to do for me

And they allowed me to slowly get healthier
Where I could help others who were hurting, you know?
And it's like it′s not in that way where you're havin′ to grow up
Always havin' to help others, despite being younger, I remember!

You feel obligated to always be better!
But when you let your walls down, and let others help you out
You can improve so much faster
Than if you had tried to figure it out on on your own, you know?

And there were times when it wasn't always this right
I had papers piled up, memories that I didn′t need physically
And there were times when I feel alright
Life felt surreal, but only so, ′cause it felt so, perfect, you know?
