Not just playing a role

My friends have loved
I've only lost
And at times I think I wonder
Is the pain worth the cost?

And I look into their eyes
And they scream and sigh
Why does it have to hurt like this?
Is it bad that I′m jealous?


He lies and steals
Is this a love you think that's real?
He robs you of your youth
Whilst giving you have truths

Does he keep you as his own?

Does he want to build a home?

I want to feel a love so deep that I go insane
I want people to question the workings of my brain
