If I even make a sound
Rest my head on the clover
Make a bed of the ground

And there's no getting over
The damage is done
Just the weight on my shoulders
And my new home in the sun

I don′t need you there holding me steady
I know, I'm leaning into the sway
I don't need you to say you′ll come with me
When I know, I′m going down either way


You won't tell me that I can be stronger
You know, I′ve never played good pretend
You won't get me to stay any longer
When you should know, this is how it always ends

And you can call it all the bed I make
But after how many times can you stop calling it mistake

When I fall let it happen
If there′s anyone around
Till the time stops it's passing
To the earth I′ll be bound

It'll take getting used to
On my own where I lay
But between this and lose you
It is here I will stay
