The roads I walked at 16 look the same at 26
If only the miles I pass could fix the past few years mistakes
Returning the choices I once chose to take
I′ve passed the point of rational thought
And nothing's enough to steer this coupled cohort


I′ll be chasing rain
In hopes to clear the thoughts that taint my night of bad decisions
And equal indecisions
The inconsistencies I've found myself so capable of
With sense as my end I'm walking off

Seeing a star burn out wasn′t enough to ease my doubts
I count the moons and include a street light in view
I′m longing for eyes with the faded stain
To walk these streets with me again

I'll be chasing rain
